ALTIVIG is a Vacuum glass (also called vacuum-insulated glazing, VIG)

 

It is an advanced type of insulating glass designed to deliver very high thermal performance in an ultra-slim format. It consists of two panes of glass separated by a microscopic vacuum gap, typically less than 0.5 mm. Because a vacuum contains almost no air, heat transfer by conduction and convection is virtually eliminated, resulting in insulation levels comparable to thick triple glazing—but at a fraction of the thickness.
